Taonga School relies on donations and sponsorship.  The children pay a small amount each month, the equivalent of £1.50 which goes a small way to covering the cost for their books.

Sponsorship has been split into different categories. Please hover over the pictures below to see how your money could be used.

Donations can be made through Zambian Education and Medical Support. Please remember to fill in our gift aid form if you pay tax in the UK.

£20 a month can feed 10 children breakfast and a snack.
New tablets cost around £100 each. Every year we need between 3 and 4 tablets as the school grows.
Reading books get spoilt with so many children using them. Donations of old reading schemes are very helpful. Replacing damaged books costs around £10 a month.
As we grow we also need more educationally specific resources, especially for science. It costs around £15 a month to repair/replace or buy resources. Donations of educational toys are also greatly appreciated.
There are 6 teachers at Taonga School. It costs about £700 a month to pay them. If you are interested in sponsoring a teacher please get in touch!
